A new WoW Forever dungeon in the Scourge-haunted ruins of Lordaeron's capital, announced for levels 15-20. The Forsaken fight to reclaim the city while a necromancer gathers power in its ruins.

Easy access for the Horde

In the ruined capital above the Undercity. Horde players have it right on their doorstep; Alliance groups have to cross Horde land in Tirisfal Glades to get there.

Overview

The Ruins of Lordaeron is one of the new dungeons added in WoW Forever. Above the Undercity, the shattered capital of the old human kingdom is still haunted by the Scourge, and Blizzard’s announcement describes the Forsaken trying to take it back - while rumours speak of a necromancer gathering power among the ruins.

It is announced for levels 15-20, giving Horde characters (and brave Alliance groups) a new option in the early levelling game. The boss list below comes from the game files; mechanics, quests and loot will be added after launch once they can be verified.

  • This is a brand-new dungeon - quests, loot and boss tactics will be filled in once WoW Forever launches on November 4, 2026.
  • Its 15-20 range bridges the gap between Ragefire Chasm and Wailing Caverns/Deadmines-level content, and it is especially convenient for Forsaken characters.
