WoW Forever has been live since 4 November, and the beta’s level 30 cap is gone. We have rewritten every build on the site for the full game.
What is new
- Leveling builds, 10 to 60. Each spec page opens on a 51-point leveling build. Drag the level slider to see exactly which talent to take at every level, and when the big ones land (for example Sweeping Strikes at 30 and Mortal Strike at 40 for Arms).
- Endgame builds at 60. Switch to the Raid build (or PvP for Subtlety Rogue, Tank (Bear) for Feral Druid) for a level 60 setup with its own rotation and stat priority.
- Healers and tanks. Where a spec levels badly on its own, the leveling build says so and gives the damage build most players use, with a dungeon-healing path in the alternatives.
- Recommended builds. The classes page now shows the top picks for leveling, raid damage, tanking and healing, taken from the updated tier lists.
Talent trees
The live game sends its talent trees from the server, so the client files still hold the old trees. Our planner and every build use the current trees as of 4 November, including Blizzard’s 2 November changes: Warrior, Rogue and Shaman trees moved again, and Paladin and Druid trees were rebuilt on 30 October. Every build is checked by script against these trees, so the order is legal at every level.
A word on raid builds
Raids open on 9 December. Until real logs exist, the level 60 builds are based on the current talents, early simulations and community testing. We will update them as soon as raid data comes in.
