0 / 0 / 21Level 30 · 21 pointsUpdated 31 October 2026 · Beta 1.60.1, hotfixes to 30 Oct

The talent trees still change between beta builds. We re-check this build on launch day (4 November 2026).

Talent descriptions come from the game client files (build 1.60.1.70707). Some talent values are applied by the game server and can differ in game; ranks marked as Classic Era data are not in the Forever client yet. The trees include the beta's server hotfixes (as of 2026-10-30) from the talentsforever.com data export (CC BY 4.0); icons and names come from the game files.

Talent order by level

  1. 10–14Nature's Focus×5
  2. 15–19Naturalist×5
  3. 20–22Reflection×3
  4. 23–27Gift of Nature×5
  5. 28Swiftmend
  6. 29–30Improved Rejuvenation×2

Alternatives

  • 21st point: Nature's Swiftness (row 5) instead of the second Improved Rejuvenation rank, for an instant emergency Healing Touch.
  • Bloom (new row 3 talent): one point heals for 100% of your Spirit whenever Rejuvenation or Regrowth expires; a natural swap for a Gift of Nature point, but nobody has tested it yet.
  • Gift of Nature 3 and Improved Rejuvenation 3 is the other common split by level 30.
  • Talented (+5): Improved Rejuvenation 3, Nature's Swiftness and Living Spirit 3.

Rotation & priority

  1. Swiftmend on the tank when it has Rejuvenation or Regrowth and takes a spike.
  2. Regrowth on targets missing a lot of health who do not already have it.
  3. Keep Rejuvenation on anyone taking steady damage.
  4. Healing Touch, downranked to the amount needed, for the rest.
  5. Cooldowns: Tranquility for heavy group damage, Innervate for mana, Rebirth for a dead player.
  6. Dispel poisons and curses with Abolish Poison and Remove Curse.

Stat priority

  1. Healing Power
  2. Spirit (Reflection keeps 50% of regen while casting)
  3. Spell haste
  4. Spell crit
  5. Intellect

How the build works

This Restoration Druid build covers the three things a level 30 healer needs: casts that are not interrupted, mana that lasts, and a fast emergency heal. Nature’s Focus gives your Nature and Arcane spells a 70% chance to keep their cast time when you take damage, which matters when you are healing yourself in the open world or get hit in a dungeon. Naturalist takes 0.5 seconds off Healing Touch and adds 10% to all the damage you deal, so it also helps while leveling.

Reflection keeps 50% of your mana regeneration going while you cast, which is the main reason Resto can heal through a long dungeon. Gift of Nature adds 10% to all your healing. Swiftmend instantly heals a target with your Rejuvenation or Regrowth for the full value of the HoT it consumes, so a pre-placed Rejuvenation becomes an instant big heal. Two points in Improved Rejuvenation add 10% to Rejuvenation.

Bloom is new since 30 Oct and replaces Gift of the Earthmother. It heals for 100% of your Spirit when a Rejuvenation or Regrowth expires naturally. It looks like a good one-point pick, but no guide has tested it yet, so we list it as an option rather than in the main build.

Leveling tips

Take Nature’s Focus at 10 to 14 and Naturalist at 15 to 19. The damage bonus from Naturalist is why Resto can quest on its own. Reflection and Gift of Nature follow, with Swiftmend at 28.

Solo, you are a caster who rarely dies: Moonfire and Wrath, Rejuvenation on yourself, and Bear Form if something reaches you. It is slower than Feral, so many Druids level as Feral and keep Resto talents for dungeon groups. In dungeons, keep Rejuvenation on the tank, use Regrowth for bigger drops and save Swiftmend for spikes.

Changes in WoW Forever

The 30 Oct hotfix reshaped this tree. Bloom replaced Gift of the Earthmother, Heart of the Wild moved here from Feral, Reflection and Subtlety swapped rows, and Naturalist now also speeds up Wild Growth and gives a flat damage bonus. Wild Growth, the row 7 capstone, now has a 3-second cast; older guides describe it as instant.

Toward level 60

Provisional. The most planned level 60 Restoration build is 11/0/39. It adds Nature’s Swiftness, Living Spirit, Improved Tranquility, Improved Regrowth and Wild Growth, with Genesis, Moonglow, Nature’s Majesty and Nature’s Splendor from Balance. Bloom is not in it yet because it was added after most plans were made.

FAQ

What is the best Restoration Druid build in WoW Forever?

At level 30, 0/0/21 with Nature's Focus 5, Naturalist 5, Reflection 3, Gift of Nature 5, Swiftmend and Improved Rejuvenation 2. The last point can go to Nature's Swiftness instead.

Is Restoration good for leveling?

It works better than you might expect, since Naturalist adds 10% to all your damage. Still, it is slower and less mobile than Feral, and it has no crit buff such as Leader of the Pack.

What stats does a Restoration Druid need?

Healing Power first, then Spirit, which Reflection lets you use while casting. Haste and crit come next, then Intellect. Exact priorities will settle at 60.

What does the Talented Legacy perk change?

It gives up to 5 extra points at level 30. Restoration uses them to finish Improved Rejuvenation and reach Nature's Swiftness and Living Spirit.
