Entrance

Easy access for the Horde

The entrance is inside the Cleft of Shadow in Orgrimmar. It is a Horde dungeon in practice - Alliance players would have to sneak through the middle of the orc capital to reach it.

Overview

Ragefire Chasm is a lava-filled cave system running under Orgrimmar itself. Troggs dug their way in from below, and the Searing Blade - an offshoot of the demon-worshipping Burning Blade cult - uses the tunnels as a hidden base right beneath the Warchief’s feet.

It is a short, linear instance and the first dungeon most Horde players see. Expect to finish in well under an hour, picking up several quests from Orgrimmar, Thunder Bluff and the Undercity along the way.

Route

From the entrance, fight through the trogg tunnels to Oggleflint, then follow the lava path down. Taragaman waits near the lava pools; beyond him the passage climbs into the cult’s halls where Jergosh and finally Bazzalan are found. There are no real skips, but the dungeon is small enough that a full clear is quick.
